Agent CE Classes

SPJST takes pride in continuous learning for its sales agents.

SPJST takes pride in continuous learning for its sales agents.  The state’s continuing education requirements have been modified for 2009; therefore, SPJST will no longer offer classes to its agents. Agents are still required to maintain Texas Department of Insurance requirements for continuing education.
To assist its agents, SPJST has partnered with WebCE—a state-approved continuing education company—to provide discounted CE to its agents.  WebCE is offering a special rate for all SPJST agents—30 hours of CE for $39.95.  Course books can be downloaded or printed directly from your web browser. The state is also charging a mandatory 75 cents per CE hour ($22.50 for 30 hours).  This is a total of $62.45 for the state-required 30 hours of CE credit for two years.  Paper book courses are also available for an additional $3.95 per course and an $8.00 shipping charge.
WebCE offers online self-study, mail order self-study, and classroom equivalent courses.

All SPJST agents are required to submit a copy of their course certificate of completion to the SPJST Insurance Department within 30 days of course completion.

For questions or more information, please contact your SPJST State Field Representative or the SPJST Home Office.
